Dr. Gen Orthodontics’ Mission Statement A beautiful smile plays a part in one’s success. Our work makes a difference in our patients’ lives. A little about Dr. Gen Dr. Felix Gen graduated with honors from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Choosing to specialize in orthodontics, he completed an advanced education residency at State University of New York at Buffalo and received both a Master of Science degree and Certificate of Proficiency in orthodontics. Dr. Gen is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. He has been the recipient of many awards and honors and currently holds membership at the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Great Lakes Society of Orthodontists, the Cleveland Society of Orthodontists, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental society.
Prior to entering dental school, Dr. Gen received one-year training in dental laboratory technology, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in dentistry from Case Western Reserve University. Currently, Dr. Gen and his family reside in Solon, Ohio. Their interests are traveling, skiing and art. Our Team This is our office team. We all work together to give you a great smile.

Lena
Lena was born in Odessa, former Soviet Union. As a child she came to the United States where she graduated from high school and earned a bachelor of arts degree in health care management from Cleveland State University. Lena currently lives with her family in Solon, Ohio. Her interests are traveling, sports and reading. Lena has been working with Dr. Gen since October of 1998.
Vickie
Vickie is a native of Shaker Heights, Ohio and is a graduate of Beaumont School for Girls. She attended Xavier University and Ursuline College. She is one of nine children and is the mother of three wonderful boys, Dean, Drew, and Danny. She was an active participant in Shaker School and Community activities. Vickie and her companion, Larry, enjoy taking long walks with their dog, Jack, gardening, skiing, reading, antiquing, and traveling. She enjoys nothing more than putting a smile on someone's face. "It takes less effort to smile, than it does to frown," says Vickie. Vickie joined Dr. Gen's team as Treatment coordinator in December of 2005.

Ashley
Ashley was born and raised in North Carolina and moved to Cleveland area in 1997. She has attended Remington College to receive her dental assisting training. Ashley is currently going to Tri-C to become a Dental Hygienist. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, listening to music, and of course, spending time with friends and family. Ashley started working with Dr. Gen in October of 2005 as Clinical Assistant.
Dawn
Dawn obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from Lakeland Community College in July 1986. Since then she has been involved in many areas of Dentistry including pediatrics, orthodontics and family practices. Dawn also earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Akron. Dawn has joined our orthodontic team as a part-time hygienist in 2005. She also currently works in a general practice 3 days a week. After residing in Hudson, for eleven years Dawn and her family have returned “home” to Gates Mills. When she is not working, Dawn is chauffeuring her teenaged son Mitchell, and younger daughter Hannah. Dawn receives her greatest rewards in Dentistry when she has educated and motivated her patients so well that their mouths show noticeable improvements at their next visit. That’s when she knows she’s made a real difference in her patient’s lives!
